The Accessibility of Indigo.

My first dye pot was an Indigo vat done with a friend who had learned the technique from
a teacher they studied under in college. Prior to this I hadn’t dyed any type of garment in
years. In fact, I really only dyed paper, not garments. After the first dye pot we made I
got more acquainted with dyeing textiles as a whole. For me, I realized the most accessible
way of dyeing was using a 1-2-3 vat. The upkeep is fairly minimal, and it can be maintained
indefinitely.I don’t have any personal recipes for this vat. I just use the instructions I have
gotten from the internet, or friends offline.

Here are some of the places I have looked at when making vats of Indigo.
